Publisher Menu Options:
  • App Dashboard - this is where you will get an overview of your application, its domain and embed code
  • User Registration
    • Login Options - here, you can manage the main view for your widget. You can choose if your users see Sign Up or Log In as the first option when they engage the application. You are also able to configure your Social Log In options should you be partnered with Janrain or Gigya to enable this feature.
    • Sign Up Form - here you are able to configure the fields you ask your users to fill out when they begin registration. You can rename existing fields that we offer, add custom questions using the "Custom User Info" section, and choose whether a field is enabled or set as required to continue.
  • Media Uploads
    • Settings - in this section, you can configure your basic upload settings. This can be restricting uploads to file type (image, video, audio or text), set how many files can be included in a single upload session, or even restrict how frequently a user can upload.
    • Upload Form - here, you can configure the information you receive from your user about the files that they are uploading. We offer default fields such as Title, Description, Tags and Geo-location, but you can add custom fields and also choose whether or not they are enabled or required as part of the upload information.
    • Media Destination - you are able to choose where the user media is uploaded as a default in this section. You may have a single location, or can include child groups which allows your users to self-categorize what they are uploading using a drop down.
  • Design
    • Basic - using some predetermined fields, you can set specific colours for buttons and fonts to match your branding
    • Custom CSS - we also allow advanced users to apply custom CSS to the Upload widget should you have specific branding requirements.
  • Copy - this section allows you to customize the copy presented to your users. It includes titles, error messages and buttons. This is also the location you would use should you want to translate your widget into another language.

Don't forget to save your Upload Widget changes! Using the View App button, you can preview your current settings. When you are ready, take the embed code and add it to your site and now you're ready to go.
